Lg Firmware Update Stuck

Hi all, My lg g4 is stuck on the firmware update screen. I was trying to downgrade from marshmallow to lollipop using LGUP but for some reason it didnt work and LGUP displayed an error. My phone was stuck on the update screen so i removed the battery as I was unable to turn it off with the power button. Now whenever I try to turn it on it goes to the firmware update screen.
