2011-02-05 15:59:48.544 dbHelper[908:903] filesystemJailbreak failed!! Thanks to this thread I finally got this working - pretty crazy that it's taken over 7 months to get any utility in return for the money. I tried creating a new user, that didn't work - it just hung on the unzip. I tried copying to the home directoy, that didn't work.
Finally I got it working by copying the seasonpass app to the root directory (Macintosh HD on my system) and that worked - I presume because that is not FileVaulted. I'm glad I saw this thread to at least give me the idea, but I am seriously annoyed with FireCore for the shoddy documentation/suppot for this paid for prodiuct of theirs. Looks like I’m having a very similar problem. Moved the app around -- desktop, root directory, home directory. Repaired permissions. FileVault isn’t on.

Any other suggestions? Home directory is like C drive on windows.
It contains the folders named Applications, Desktop, Documents, Downloads etc. If you open Finder and have the sidebar showing (a directory on the left hand side) then your computer name should be located there with a little house icon. To move the seasonpass app from downloads to the home directory go to your downloads folder and just drag it to the home folder.
Im not the most computer savvy person myself, but from what i can gather one key difference between windows and mac is that in mac you can download and launch applications without actually installing them locally. However they wont have full access to your system and therefore may not work properly unless you install them locally. Often when installing apps they will appear greyed out until you drag their icon to the dock to complete the installation. Please feel free to correct me if im wrong.
